- Adornment has always been a main interest since I can remember. I draw ideas from all things I have access to such as found objects, trash, fabrics, people, fashion, animal/bird/reptile body parts(found or givin to me by my amazing friend Larry Bentley old time jewelry artist from new orleans), jewelry design throughout history, and intermix my own personalized aesthetic. i enjoy the juxtaposition of roughness complimenting gentle materials. I mainly use lace and other fabrics in my metal work since I have been sewing and working with fabrics since I was a little girl with my mother. She's amazing.
